Role:
As the Marketing Head, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive the growth and success of our products in the market. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand, increasing market share, and creating a strong customer base. Reporting directly to the Founder Director / CEO, you will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote our products and maximize market penetration.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Create and implement innovative marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
- Build and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns and improve results.
- Collaborate with the product development team to align marketing efforts with product features and benefits.
- Oversee the development of marketing collateral, including sales materials, website content, and product documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, and apply them to our marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- MUST have a Master’s Degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in marketing, preferably in a product-based start-up or technology-driven company.
- Strong understanding of product marketing principles, including market analysis, segmentation, positioning, and pricing.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Proficiency in using marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving business growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of digital marketing techniques, SEO/SEM, social media platforms, and content marketing strategies.
